Gary Wayne Harding

Gary Wayne Harding brings elite competitive and coaching experience to Cowboy Wrestling Club. A Collinsville native, Harding compiled a 166–14 high school record, won four Oklahoma Class 5A state championships, and earned the 2014 Dave Schultz High School Excellence Award for Oklahoma.

Harding wrestled at Oklahoma State from 2015–18, recording 57 wins, qualifying twice for the NCAA Championships, and contributing to four Big 12 championship teams. He completed his collegiate career at North Carolina, where he went 27–13 and qualified for the NCAA Championships for the third time.

Harding later spent three seasons as an assistant coach at North Carolina, helping coach five All-Americans, four ACC champions, and 2021 NCAA champion Austin O’Connor. He returned to Oklahoma State’s coaching staff and currently serves as the Cowboys’ recruiting coordinator.
