Coleman Scott

Coleman Scott brings championship-level experience as both an athlete and coach. The Waynesburg, Pennsylvania, native was a three-time state champion before wrestling at Oklahoma State, where he compiled a 120–24 record, earned four All-America honors, won two Big 12 titles, and captured the 2008 NCAA championship at 133 pounds.

Internationally, Scott represented the United States as a six-time Senior National Team member and won a bronze medal at the 2012 London Olympics. He was also a U.S. Open champion and a Pan American champion. In 2024, Scott was inducted into the National Wrestling Hall of Fame as a Distinguished Member.

Scott’s coaching career includes successful tenures at Oklahoma State and North Carolina. During eight seasons as UNC’s head coach, he guided the Tar Heels to a 75–49 dual record while coaching numerous All-Americans, ACC champions, and two-time NCAA champion Austin O’Connor. Scott has also coached U.S. men’s and women’s freestyle World Teams and now brings his experience to Cowboy Wrestling Club and The Farm.
