Jon Henslee

Jon Henslee brings a proven record of success as both a competitor and coach. A standout wrestler from Libertyville, Illinois, he continued his career at Grand View University, where he earned NAIA All-America honors with a fourth-place finish at 141 pounds during the 2009 NAIA National Championships.

Before joining Cowboy Wrestling Club, Jon developed elite athletes as a lead coach at the Poeta Training Center in Illinois. His coaching helped wrestlers reach some of the sport’s biggest stages, including Super 32, Who’s Number One, Illinois state championships and U20 World Team competition. Nationally ranked wrestlers have credited Jon’s high-level instruction and attention to detail as a major difference-maker in their development.

Now entering his fifth season with Cowboy Wrestling Club, Jon is one of the organization’s lead coaches and has been a major part of the club’s success. He has poured his heart into CWC athletes by teaching advanced skills and techniques while developing discipline, confidence and a championship mindset. His passion for wrestling and commitment to every athlete continue to raise the standard in the room and help CWC compete at the highest levels.
