Jasper Lockett

Jasper Lockett brings a lifetime of wrestling experience and leadership to Cowboy Wrestling Club. A Ponca City, Oklahoma, product and high school state runner-up, he became a four-time national qualifier and two-time collegiate All-American. Lockett placed fourth at the 2006 NAIA National Championships while competing for Bacone College and third at the 2007 NAIA National Championships at Missouri Valley College. He also represented Missouri Valley in the 2007 Collegiate All-Star Challenge, where he defeated the nation’s No. 2-ranked wrestler.

Since completing his competitive career, Jasper has poured his experience into developing the next generation. He has been instrumental in the Stillwater and Oklahoma youth wrestling communities, coaching Cowboy Wrestling Club athletes and supporting Oklahoma teams at Schoolboy and Cadet Duals. His influence has helped young wrestlers develop from local competitors into state, national and international-level athletes.

More than his accomplishments, Jasper is an inspirational leader and the heart of Cowboy Wrestling Club. As President and coach, he sets the standard through his work ethic, consistency and belief in young people. He teaches athletes to pursue excellence while becoming tougher, more disciplined, respectful and confident—both on and off the mat.
